FAMILY FUNERAL ASSISTANCE MEMBERSHIP
Our Funeral Assistance Plan offers three options to our Members, but only delivers one of them at time of requesting the service. With a single phone call to our office in the event of a death, our team of experts will take care of all funeral arrangements as well as the payment of basic funeral expenses, so you and your loved ones can focus on caring for each other in time of need.SIMPLE MEMBERSHIP AND TERMS
Services for accidental, suicide, or violent death coverage begins three (3) business days after enrollment & initial payment has been drafted. Death under natural causes has one hundred eighty days (180) waiting period after enrollment & initial payment has been drafted. Pre-existing conditions of Cancer, Brain Tumor, Dialysis, & Terminal Illness, are NOT allowed at the time of enrollment, as this is standard throughout the Industry.KEY BENEFITS OF THE PLAN FOR ALL MEMBERS
- Transfer within the United States
- Transfer of your loved one to their Country of origin
- Shipment of final remains to Country of destination included
- For those under 65, a family relationship with the holder member not required
- Two (2) Parents, Spouse, or Step Parents are allowed – up to the age of 80 years old for the life of the payment on the Membership.
Family Protection for Plan Members Residing in the United States
- Assistance within our covered areas in the U.S., Latin America, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica (except Michigan, North Dakota, and temporarily Texas under special conditions).
- During an emergency, we provide 24/7 support for you and your family.
- Remember, to request emergency services, you must first contact Assure for Life by Proteccion Plenitud, Inc., immediately using the toll-free customer service number 888-815-5817. A service member will begin the process of providing the services. You must have your contract number in hand at the time of your call.
Proteccion Plenitud, Inc., will arrange for the following services to be provided by third parties:
- Basic funeral services, or the full cost of the cremation.
- Transfer of the deceased to the local funeral provider.
- Preparation of the deceased (embalming or refrigeration).
- Viewing at the funeral provider for the minimum time the provider offers.
- The purchase of a standard casket for a traditional funeral memorial service, or the rental of a casket for a cremation service, and an urn.
- Transportation of the deceased to the cemetery or crematorium. (We do not cover the cost of the cemetery within the United States). In the event the client chooses cremation, the funeral provider will select the crematorium for the final disposition of the deceased.
- Funeral director expenses.
- Basic reminder pack (obituaries).
- One (1) Death certificate.
- One (1) round-trip economy-class airline ticket for the primary plan member within the United States, subject to airline availability and for the sole purpose of attending the funeral service of the deceased.
